I've lost all faith in this /a/ contest, which is now not a contest based on the GARness of the participants, but the popularity of the show they're in. Yes, I would understand if Bunshichi only slightly lost to Dutch, both leaving Lelouch far behind, but what the heck is this faggotry?

I'm going to skip Dutchy this time, but let's summarize:

Lelouch: thin, not well-built noodle man, probably poor physical power, got a mystical power by coincidence, dead serious, Light Yagami syndrome (first the plan, then women)
Bunshichi: athletic, the strongest man in Toudou Academy (who got hellishly strong students), capable of wrecking a car and turning it over with one punch, gets stabbed repeatably in the leg with a sword only to create an opening, then gets up and fights like nothing happened, awesome comic relief character, easily distracted by beautiful women, especially their breasts.

Now, the GAR definition (from one of the comments for the post on Kurogane's blog): Gar is basically the opposite of moe. It’s someone so manly, even the very macho would submit to them. Like moe, either gender can be gar.
Also, from lurkmore wiki: Later on, the word's meaning broadened to refer the state of admiration of other males of such badassery and manliness.

Ok, so with these two paragraphs above, please kindly tell me, how Lelouch is more GAR than Bunshichi? God, this contest is worthless, I'd rather go and vote for lolis at lolitron. Or maybe I'll start my own SaiGAR right here, on this blog? Comments are welcomed.

Either way, Bunshichi will be never forgotten in the history of GAR, even if beaten by a wimp. Just like Coach Ohta, Kenzou Tenma OR EVEN Randel Oland. Ave.

My friend and I were pretty shock too. Well, we are fangirls who, of course, easily found Lelouch more attractive than the other two competitors. However, we voted for Bunshichi anyway(and we've never watch the serie!). I mean, this is GAR contest not a bishie contest right? so we tried to think like a man. But noooooo! You people voted for Lelouch! When the result was posted, we were like "Oh Haruhi! So this is what "manly" by a man's definition? No wonder why Yaoi is so popular..."

In the first episode, Lelouch uses his power to make his enemies blow their own brains out. GAR.

In the second episode, he manages to maneuver a single Knightmare Frame to obtain enough Knightmare Frames to arm an entire revolutionary group, and then use his forces to completely run circles around a larger, more powerful force. He takes zero casualties, and completely wipes out the enemy. GAR.

I don't feel like listing off any more reasons because that alone put him well above Bunshichi.

Though I'll agree on the Randel Oland thing. No way in hell should he have lost to Son Goku.
