Then we get to see another quarell between Yoshida and Shana, Sakai who is so braindead (as always) that he doesn't get the situation, Satou's complaining and tsundere Ogata. Wait, the last one sounded better than the rest. That's right - hot girl + tsundere = episode success. Well, not always. If that was true, then School Rumble 2 wouldn't be such a lost cause. Side note: buses in Japan sure are strange. The thing that bugs me the most is how did Ogata and the pack get to the rear of the bus, when it's blocked by Sakai's seat? Speaking of the pack in the rear, our Generic Friend Character is having some transport problems. Was it his first ride? Shouldn't he have taken some dimenhydrinate or something? Well, seems like a Generic Comic Relief Character is fine too.

The Melancholy of Hayato Ike, part 1.

Wow. Next scene. Big stairs. We get to know that when people get of the bus and are restless, the best thing to do is climbing up them, only to get back down the second they get to the top. Anyways, the stairs were indeed big and long, but not that big and long to be tired as hell when reaching the peak (or the middle - see Yoshida). Plus, Ogata IS in a volleyball club, isn't she? She IS athletic, isn't she? Whatever. I really enjoyed Shana's Becky face and Yoshida's 'Muda da' face, though. Another thing. Did the navigator girl reminded of Asakura Ryoko only for me? Is this episode full of homages? Guess what. Sakai is still a braindead idiot. Let's see. The stairs before me are known as the stairs of marriage. Whoever I climb them with, I'll be married with later on, the legend says. Suddenly, two girls fight over which of them will go with me. What that means? ¯\(º_o)/¯ I dunno, lol.

I wondered at first, who bought so many rooms at the inn, that whole groups were forced to sleep together, and it became even unclear when Alastor commented it. But the moment they've showed that person I suddenly felt stupid - it was so freaking obvious! Next we've got the obligatory onsen scene proceeded by some eyecatches. Beside the one at the beginning of this post, there were two more (the girl on the left in the first one is kinda hot. And I don't mean Shana). Is it me, or is this show fond of gay jokes. I mean, first Hecate-tan, now this. I predict hot Alastor x Marcosius + Kshashim x his King of Guze action. Back to the onsen, we see that Sakai is not only a knucklehead, but he's also a freaking sissy. 'No I won't go peek on some perfectly splendid, young women. I'd rather stay here and wet my ass off in this hot water.'. Good thing that we get a flashback to Yoshida's bounciness, probably the best part of the episode so far. Too bad that we don't get to see anything more, because of the long onsen bathsuit tradition. Once the trouble maker are gone, we can get to the obligatory breast conversation. Too bad that it's only a minute long, not like in the infamous episode of Magic Knight Rayearth. Back to the boys... wow. Even Ike is a normal, healthy man. That leaves only Sakai as the Master Of The Sissies. Well, bad things happened to all of those who tried to peek, but it would be worth it. Really.

Another Ogata fantasy, even more daring. Alright, I'll say it. Ogata's Satou, with his hairstyle and behaviour is now ofically the new Itsuki. Cause everybody's Satou for Tanaka. Or something. In the next scene, one thing really catched my attention. Beside the tsundere Ogata. The thing is: why does Yoshida look so flat in a Kimono or a uniform, when she's probably the second biggest chest in the show (with Margery at first)? And why does she look kinda Yoake Mae Yori Ruri Iro Na in this scene?.

Let's skip the dodgeball sequence and jump straight to another onsen scene. If you watched to this moment, you probably feel as stupid as I. Or did you guess who it was from the start? One thing is certian - I would never expect this person to give any helpful love assistance. Well, as they say - whatever goes to make your booze better. Or do they? And was it a spoiler? Anyways, thanks to that person, Ogata is now totally confident about herself, and goes off to the conquest of Tanaka's heart (who looks like Pokemon's Brock at the moment. Or like me, after the New Years Party). Thanks to that, we can see her great deredere side. So, she comes, wakes Tanaka, and guess what happens. How generic can you get? Clumsiness prevails! So the confession was a disaster, everyone's awake. The whole thing, boom, exploded. I still liked Shana's and Yoshida's eavesdropping. Were they looking for an example how to confess to Sakai? Yeah, I can see Shana's attempt - 'Sakai-kun, I...', boom, right on Ike's face. Then, some sword slicing. Ouch. I wonder if Oga-chan had any underwear under the kimono.

So. We've got the denial scene, when suddenly Tanaka appears and elevates his admirer spirit a bit (I don't mean Satou). Then we find out that Tanaka's brain is probably the same size as Sakai's and we end with Ogata's explosion. Tsundere in her whole pose, ahh. Good end? Not yet. We're back in the crazy bus - everyone's exhausted as heck (why? Didn't they just sleep whole night?). I second Shana's question - what was the point of the whole field trip? I don't get it. 'Hey, kids, look, there's some stairs! Hey, kids, look, it's an onsen! Hey, kids, look, we're going home!' By the way, she looks awfully familiar here too. The we've got a touching moment, at the end of the bus (literally). And that's it. The end.

Yoake Umare Kuru Shoujo! I haven't heard this piece for a while. I'm very glad that it's a Ogata version this time, but redone pics, not drawn by Itoh-sama don't have the charm as it had during the series. Either way, it was nice to hear those two songs again. At the very end, we also get the commercial for the movie, nothing shown, very dissapointing.How would I summarize the episode? Huh. It was a normal special, nothing really great, some fanservice, plot generic to the bone (or was there any plot at all). Enjoyable, but not a 'must'. It's like a worse version of the swimming pool episode. Well, see for yourself. I'm still waiting for the movie, maybe some action will be there at last. Also, I was considering reading the novels, but I couldn't find a translation anywhere. Is it worth it?

Wow. This post took too long to make. I've got to find a way to do this things faster. Maybe not playing God of War between the sentences.
